Lauderdale-By-The-Sea is a small seaside town on Florida’s east coast just north of Fort Lauderdale Once you arrive in this coastal community of 6,000 residents, it’s a short walk just about anywhere. There’s plenty to do: walk along the Town’s Blue Wave beaches, fish off the pier, go paddle boarding, or dive or snorkel on the coral reef located within 100 yards of the beach- we are Florida’s Beach Diving Capital.

The town’s vibrant beach area offers live music in various restaurants seven days a week, or if you’d rather just take it easy and stare at the ocean, just sit yourself down on one of the boat benches under the beach pavilion. The Town’s official motto, after all, is, “Relax…You’re Here.” Lauderdale-By-The-Sea does not allow tall buildings along its beach and in town; that’s why the community has maintained its Old Florida charm, reminiscent of Florida in the 1950s
